Vivid Earth Adventures is the professional pursuit of Casey Tucker’s passions of outdoor adventure and youth work. With over a decade of experience Casey founded Vivid Earth in 2022, his mission is to provide outdoor and adventure experiences that promote personal growth, exploration, and a deeper appreciation of nature.
In a world of ever-increasing stimuli and digital encroachment into our lives, we all need to take time in the great outdoors to breathe, relax, take a break, and explore. Vivid Earth aims to create a space where anyone can gain comfort and experience in the outdoors, whether for a half-day adventure or a lifetime of outdoor pursuits. Vivid Earth opens opportunities to follow dreams, fulfill passions, and inspire the protection and conservation of the environment which is so important to our health and our future.

Meet Casey Tucker, Owner, Director, Guide, & Adventure Advocate
Casey’s passion is outdoor adventure and working with youth, and Vivid Earth Adventures is the professional pursuit of those passions. He grew up camping, fishing, canoeing, backpacking, and all other manner of outdoor experiences. After graduating from Georgia College & State University with a degree in history (because what would you do with an Outdoor Leadership degree, he thought), he hitchhiked cross country, hiked 500 miles of the Appalachian Trail with his sister, and found work in the outdoor industry.
In 2011, Casey started his journey in outdoor education, summer camps, and trip-leading. From ropes courses to wilderness trips, his passions and a few seasonal jobs slowly morphed into a career. From Educator to Director, Casey built experience, collected stories, and gained insight into outdoor work.
In the fall of 2022, after 12 years in the industry, Casey started bringing his vision of Vivid Earth Adventures to life. His goal is to inspire a love of nature and adventure in others, whether that be a slow hike to watch wildlife or the thrill of a rappel or running rapids.
Casey is an avid caver, paddler, canyoneer, climber, cyclist, hiker, and naturalist. If it’s outdoors, he’s interested. When not sorting out insurance or planning programs, you’ll find him exploring and mapping caves or out on the river somewhere. He calls Staunton, VA, home and loves that 30 minutes in any direction, great outdoor adventures await.
